What does the name mean? Xisti (pronounced zis-tee) is derived from the Greek word xystus. In ancient Greece, such sites were often the scene of athletic competitions. In Roman times, they were pathways and colonnades where thinkers met to discuss events. What are your goals for the site? Xisti.com was established to provide a forum for people to meet and discuss issues, current events and to learn how they can take a more active role in controlling their lives and impacting society in a positive way. The Xisti.com site offers forums for discussion of issues ranging from those that affect us personally to global concerns. Xisti.com is a community of people and is constantly changing to reflect the membership. Membership is open to people over the age of 18, who have a desire to learn and discuss the issues that impact their lives. While we believe that people can impact society in a positive way, we acknowledge that society can also impact people in a negative way. It is our goal to affirm the former while rejecting the later. What else can you tell me about Xisti.com? The Xisti.com web site is owned by Xisti Incorporated, a Minnesota corporation.
