Throw Away World ...

Welcome to Throw Away World ... a series where we will explore our lives and times. When I look at the impact of the many things we are and do, I cannot help but wonder where we are going.

What will happen to us as a people? Many have said that we are too violent, too wasteful, too uncaring to prosper. And when I look at some of the effects of the 20th Century I begin to wonder if we will survive the 21st.

We are living beyond our means. As a people we have developed a life-style that is draining the earth of its priceless and irreplaceable resources without regard for the future of our children and people all around the world. .......... Margaret Mead

So this series will explore what we do and what we could do to make the changes that have to happen if life is to survive. You may agree or disagree ... and we hope that those who do both will say so ... loud and clear in the Forums@Xisti.com.
